NEW YORK - Paris Hilton is trying to make peace in his legal battle in the city of New York with an Italian lingerie manufacturer.
The socialite appeared in federal court in Manhattan on Monday for talks closed settlement in a lawsuit filed by Le Bonitas.
Hilton sued the company in 2010 on a license agreement for a line of underwear. It is alleged that hurt business for refusing to sign into their designs quickly enough.
In a counterclaim, Hilton accused the company of trying to avoid paying $ 1.5 million he owes.
Both parties left court without announcing a deal.
